My thoughts on my thoughts on snow white

 Wow guys! Never would I have dreamed that yesterday’s post would reach such a high status! I had people asking me to review their blogs as well, and the writer of the IARIIT (it ain’t rude if it’s true) blog even commented on my post!!! With that said, I would like to get started on this blog review, and what better way to start than with a comment left by a user named Kylie Carson, who writes “I am first!!”

Just like how Kylie Carson was first to comment on my first post, the next post from IARIIT that I would like to review is the post simply titled “my thoughts on Snow White”. So picture this, I open up this new blog I’m following, see a post that’s talking about this new movie surrounded in controversy, and I open it up so that I can see if this blogger is someone to respect or reject, and OH MY GOODNESS was this post something to feast on! I personally hadn’t even watched the movie myself, but just reading the first paragraph, I knew that this movie would be Wicked!

Literally, it’s a movie review of wicked.

I read the first paragraph talking about Glinda and something didn’t sit right with me. Sure, I hadn’t watched the new woke show white movie, to be honest who has? But what I did know is that while glinda herself may be Snow White, the movie she is from is anything but!

MM (what I will be calling the author of the blog) writes so many praises for the movie, even listing its awards won and IMDb reception, but I’m going to do something I never thought I would have to do here, I’m going to criticize the post. I understand wanting to give a spoiler free review, I do, but so much of the impact of wicked gets lost here if we just boil it down to statistics. Despite the fact that the undertones of animal racism wasn’t even discussed, what really hurt the post (though I admit it was made up for in the comments by my favorite commenter, Ally Bowman) is that the literally GOAT wasn’t even mentioned. That’s not me saying this post is BAAAAAD (like a goat noise), but it’s honestly not the quality that I followed for (trust me, this will be made up for in later posts. Looking at you E.T. 👀)

Overall, I think that this blog post is one that exists. It’s not gonna win any awards, it’s not gonna cause a world war, it’s just there. I can’t wait to see how it improves from here, but I think that this post was hindered by a prescription by Dr. GPT.

So, does it pass the creative test?

But does it pass the True test, as the title of the blog suggests it should?

A small check, because while technically true, it lacks any evidence of rudeness. 

At the end of the day, it’s not up to me to decide, I’d encourage all of you to go read MM’s blog post, they obviously put a lot of work into it and I wouldn’t be where I am today, writing this famous blog, if not for their work. I’d also love to congratulate IARIIT for reaching double digit followers!
